Fifteen people, including four children, have been injured and one man has been killed in a Russian strike on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 21-22 February.

Details: In the Fastiv district, emergency workers pulled eight people from under the rubble. Seven of them sustained injuries of varying severity, and one man died.

Four of those injured are receiving medical assistance at hospital. Three are in a serious condition, two of them in surgery, while another is being treated at a trauma unit.

People were also injured in the Boryspil, Vyshhorod, Obukhiv and Bucha districts. They sustained shrapnel wounds, cuts, fractures, smoke inhalation and acute stress reactions.

Background: Russian forces carried out a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast overnight and in the morning on 22 February. Damage was recorded in five districts.
