The number of people injured in the Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast on the night of 21-22 February has risen to 17, including 4 children, and 1 person has been killed.

Quote: "As of now, we have confirmed information about 17 injured, including four children.

Five people are currently in medical facilities – four adults and one child. Two adults are in a serious condition, another two are in a moderate condition. The child is also in a moderate condition and is receiving all the necessary medical assistance."

Details: Damage has been recorded in the Brovary, Obukhiv, Boryspil, Bucha, Fastiv and Vyshhorod districts. The Boryspil, Bucha and Fastiv districts have sustained the most severe damage.

Overall, more than 100 homes have been damaged in the oblast as a result of the attack – these are houses and apartments in multi-storey buildings, but this number is not final. The extent of damage varies – from completely destroyed buildings to broken windows, damaged roofs and facades. Businesses, warehouses, office premises, garage cooperatives and transport have also been affected.

In the Brovary district, garages, administrative and warehouse buildings, office premises as well as cars and other equipment were damaged.

In the Obukhiv district, three people were injured, including a child. Damage was recorded at a critical infrastructure facility, businesses, residential buildings (houses and apartment buildings), an educational institution, cars and railway infrastructure.

In the Boryspil district, one person was injured. Houses, a farm and cars were damaged. A church was also affected by a blast wave.

In the Bucha district, six people were injured, including three children. Apartment buildings and houses, cars and office and retail premises were damaged.

In the Fastiv district, seven people were injured, including one child. One person was killed as a result of the Russian strike. Houses and cars were damaged. The most tragic consequences of the attack occurred here.
