Catholic church and convent damaged in 22 February Russian attack on Kyiv Oblast

A convent and the dome of a church in Kyiv Oblast have been damaged as a result of a Russian attack.

Details: The bishop said the dome of the church, in the Boryspil district, was hit. The convent of Carmelite nuns in Sofiivska Borshchahivka also came under attack.
The blast wave blew out windows and their frames and damaged the interior furnishings of some premises.

Quote from Kryvytskyi: "The good God preserved the lives and health of our Sisters. They, as they themselves testify, were not even frightened and continue to fulfil their vital mission – to pray for the Church, for our Homeland, for its defenders and for the coming of a just peace."
Background: The Russians carried out a large-scale missile and drone attack on Kyiv Oblast during the night and morning of 22 February, injuring 17 people, including four children. One person was killed. The Boryspil, Bucha and Fastiv districts were the worst affected.
