Electric public transport in Kyiv to partially resume operations

Electric public transport services on the right (west) bank of Kyiv will gradually resume starting 26 February.

Details: It is noted that the current technical capacity allows for the restoration of electric transport services on the right bank of the capital.

"The restoration of electric transport services on the left bank and routes connecting both banks of the capital will take place after further improvements in the energy system situation, and provided there is no new damage to infrastructure," the administration stated.

To ensure passenger transportation on the left bank, certain bus routes will be temporarily reinforced, with part of the available rolling stock redirected there.

Background: Due to the aftermath of Russian attacks and the difficult situation in the energy system, surface electric transport on the right bank of Kyiv had been temporarily suspended.
