Russia hands over 100 bodies that may belong to Ukrainian soldiers – photos

On 26 February, as part of repatriation efforts, Ukraine received 1,000 bodies (remains) of fallen soldiers, which, as early reports provided by the Russian side say, may belong to Ukrainian service members.

Details: Ukrainian investigators and forensic experts will now work to identify the repatriated bodies.

Background: On 29 January, Ukraine also repatriated 1,000 bodies of the fallen, which the Russian side claimed belonged to Ukrainian service members.
