Four killed in Russian strike on Kherson

Four people were killed in a Russian attack on the Korabelnyi district of Kherson on the afternoon of 1 March.

Details: The authorities initially reported that two elderly women had been killed near the entrance of a residential building.

Two people were taken to hospital in a critical condition: a woman, 85, and a man, 63, with blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds to the head and torso.

The authorities later said that both had died in hospital.

Background: On 28 February, one civilian was killed in each of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
