Quote: "The missile has a wingspan of about three metres, a warhead weighing 800 kg and a range of at least 1,500 km. The first cases of use of the new missile against Ukraine were recorded at the end of last year."

Details: DIU added that based on markings and design features, the product was identified as a development of the research and development bureau Zvezda, which is part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation. Certain technical solutions are unified with other products of this developer and corporation in general.

"In particular, the installed pyrovalve of the pneumatic system is identical to elements of the Kh-35U missile, and the aircraft ejector device is similar to AKU-5M systems used for Kh-101, Kh-55 and Kh-555 missiles," DIU added.

DIU also noted that the satellite navigation system, perhaps for the first time for Russia's cruise missiles, is represented by a combination of products from two different Russian companies – the jam-resistant satellite signal receiver with the digital antenna array Kometa-m12 produced by VNIIR-PROGRESS JSC and the receiving and computing unit produced by the construction bureau Navis, created on the basis of the NAVIS NR9 receiver.

The intelligence agency says that the interface unit produced by ANPP TEMP AVIA JSC, known for manufacturing flight controllers for guided aerial bombs, is being used for their integration.

All three parts of the navigation system contain components from foreign manufacturers: the US, Switzerland, China and the Netherlands.

DIU said a separate electronic control unit for warhead BUBS-30 is made on a Russian element base. Its key component is a 32-bit 1986VE1AT ARM architecture microcontroller produced by PKK MILANDR JSC.

Background: Recently, DIU published data on the War&Sanctions portal on 34 companies of Russian Helicopters holding the state corporation Rostec that develop, manufacture, repair and service Russian helicopters.
