Quote: "As of now, nine settlements have been liberated. The enemy has been cleared out from three settlements in our zone, and work is currently underway to liberate several more settlements."
Details: The Air Assault Forces noted that their military units and subunits are continuing to carry out active offensive operations on the Oleksandrivka front, imposing their own conditions of battle on the Russians.
In the course of the operation, the Russians are being systematically and decisively pushed out of fortified positions. Large-scale and precision strikes are destroying Russian manpower, weapons, military hardware and specialised equipment.
The Air Assault Forces state that the operation was carried out in accordance with a defined plan. Within a week, as a result of decisions taken and the use of technical means, Russian forces' access to the Starlink network was restricted. This significantly affected the Russians' situational awareness and complicated command and control at the initial stage, although the Russians did not halt their offensive actions and continued advancing.
Aerial reconnaissance units and FPV drone teams are operating continuously and effectively, identifying and destroying targets, leaving the Russians with no secure rear area.
The Air Assault Forces reported that since the beginning of the operation, from 29 January to the present, Russian losses amount to 6,537 military personnel – 4,355 killed, 2,167 wounded; 15 Russians were taken prisoner.
The Russians have lost 419 units of military equipment: 14 armoured fighting vehicles, 242 motor vehicles, 49 artillery systems, 2 multiple-launch rocket systems, 1 air defence system, 6 items of specialised equipment, 105 motorcycles/quad bikes, 7 tanks, and 147 artillery systems. They also lost 611 fixed-wing UAVs and 108 UAV control points.
Background: The Air Assault Forces previously reported that they had broken through the Russian defensive line on the Oleksandrivka front, which is located on the borders of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
