A backup electricity transmission line at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has been repaired, meaning the facility is now connected to two power lines again.

Details: A temporary ceasefire had previously been established in order to conduct repairs on the reserve power line.
Background:
- In January 2026, Ferosplavna-1 was repaired under another temporary ceasefire arrangement.
- In December 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there was no consensus during peace talks with Russia regarding the ZNPP, but if it remained under Russian control, it would not operate.
