Infant injured in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

Russian forces attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia on the night of 6-7 March, damaging a multi-storey residential building and injuring an infant.

Quote: "An infant has been injured in an enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. Doctors are currently transporting the child to hospital. Windows in a multi-storey residential building were also damaged. Early reports indicated that windows in around 30 apartments had been shattered."

Background:

• On the night of 6-7 March, Russian forces conducted a large-scale combined attack on Ukraine. They struck a multi-storey residential building in the city of Kharkiv with a ballistic missile, killing and injuring people.
• Russian forces also launched missile strikes on the city of Novodnistrovsk in Chernivtsi Oblast, causing a fire and a power outage.
• Earlier, Russian drones struck residential buildings in the cities of Sumy and Chuhuiv, injuring civilians.
