Ukraine wins its first gold at 2026 Paralympics

Ukraine has won its first gold medal of the 2026 Paralympic Games after Taras Rad took victory in the men's 7.5km sprint sitting in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Details: Rad, 26, shot clean at both shooting stages and set the fastest time on the course to win the sitting class for para-athletes with impairments in the musculoskeletal system.
