Russians attack Kherson: five injured

Five people have been injured in Russian attacks on the city of Kherson on the morning of 9 March.

Details: The Russians struck the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson using UAVs at about 09:00. A 58-year-old woman sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to her abdomen. She was taken to hospital in a moderate condition.

At about 09:15, the Russians attacked the same district of the city. A 91-year-old woman sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to her chest and arm after a strike on a block of flats. She was also taken to hospital in a moderate condition.

Update: Kherson City Military Administration later reported that a 35-year-old woman from Kherson had been injured after a Russian Molniya UAV struck a high-rise residential building in the Dniprovskyi district at around 09:15. She sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her face. Police officers took the woman to hospital.

The drone strike damaged around 30 windows in the apartment building and scarred the façade.

Later the city military administration reported that at about 11:00, Russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on residents in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A man, 61, and a woman, 54, suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to their limbs. City police took them to hospital.
