Details: The Orion (also known as Inokhodets) is a strike-reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle produced by the sanctioned Russian group of companies Kronshtadt. Earlier, the Ukrainian intelligence agency presented its interactive 3D model and a list of companies involved in the production chain.
The database has now been expanded to include 19 additional companies that manufacture components for the anti-icing and fuel systems and flight and navigation equipment, as well as elements of the radio-electronic command-and-information interaction system. As a result, the total number of companies listed in the database as involved in producing the UAV has increased to 70.
In addition, Defence Intelligence added 30 electronic components identified in the Iranian Shahed-107 drone used by the Russian forces and in the QIR50TPro gyro-stabilised electro-optical system of the Russian Feniks reconnaissance UAV.
The agency had previously published an interactive model and the component base of the Shahed-107. The latest update supplements it with 15 additional components discovered in another sample of the drone used by the enemy.
"Recent events in the Middle East demonstrate that the weapons Russia is currently using against Ukraine pose a threat of terror and strikes against civilian infrastructure in other regions of the world as well. Publishing such data aims to consolidate international efforts to counter the spread and use of such weapons systems," Defence Intelligence noted.
Background: Recently, Defence Intelligence also unveiled an interactive 3D model, the main elements and components of the Russian new Izdeliye-30 cruise missile, as well as data on 20 companies involved in its production chain.
