Ukrainian troops down rare Russian Granat-4 reconnaissance drone worth US$200,000 – video

Ukrainian soldiers have shot down a rare Russian Granat-4 reconnaissance drone with a range of up to 120 km and a value of more than US$200,000.

Quote: "The enemy reconnaissance UAV is equipped with an internal combustion engine. It operates at a distance of 100-120 km. It can fly high, up to 4,000 metres. And it costs quite a lot – more than US$200,000."

Details: The regiment said the unit regularly destroys even more complex aerial assets, and the destruction of this drone means the loss of another reconnaissance asset for the Russian forces.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian interceptor drone manufacturer Wild Hornets stated that the Russian drone had been shot down using their systems.
"This is the first confirmed shoot-down of a Granat-4 reconnaissance UAV by operators from the 1129th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment," Wild Hornets added.
