Ukraine's General Staff releases footage of Storm Shadow strike on Bryansk plant in Russia

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has confirmed that Storm Shadow air-launched missiles struck the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk.

Quote: "As part of a systematic effort to reduce the military-economic potential of the Russian aggressor, units of Ukraine's defence forces carried out successful strikes with Storm Shadow air-launched missiles on the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk.

Kremniy El is a critically important link in the production chain of Russia's high-precision weapons. The plant specialises in discrete semiconductor devices and integrated microchips, which are the brains and nervous system of modern weapons, including Iskander missiles."

Details: The General Staff also released a video showing several missiles hitting the plant workshop.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking to journalists, said that Ukraine has struck production facilities in Bryansk, Russia.

Background: Ukraine's General Staff confirmed in late December that Air Force units had carried out a successful strike with Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles on the Novoshakhtinsk oil products plant in Russia's Rostov Oblast on 25 December.
