Elderly woman dies from injuries sustained in 9 March Russian attack on Kherson

A 91-year-old woman has died in hospital after being injured in a Russian strike on Kherson's Dniprovskyi district on 9 March.

Details: Prokudin said that doctors had been desperately fighting to save her life for several days, but her injuries proved fatal.

Background: On the morning of 9 March, five people were injured as a result of Russian strikes on Kherson. Among them was the 91-year-old woman, who sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her chest and arm.
