Ukraine evacuates 16 citizens from Middle East

Ukraine's diplomats have evacuated 16 Ukrainian citizens from the Middle East, where hostilities are currently ongoing.

Quote: "On 11-12 March 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, carried out the evacuation of Ukrainian citizens from the Middle East to Warsaw.

Ukrainian diplomats in Poland, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait ensured the evacuation of 16 Ukrainian citizens who found themselves in a difficult situation due to hostilities in the region."

Background: As of the evening of 2 March, Ukraine's embassy in Israel had no information about any Ukrainians killed or injured as a result of the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East.
