President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Ukraine has so far received six requests for assistance from Middle Eastern countries. The authorities plan to determine what specific support Kyiv's partners expect after the Ukrainian delegation returns from the Gulf region.

Details: According to Zelenskyy, military officials and the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council are due to return from the region at the end of the week, after which a full report will be presented.
The president noted that Ukraine has provided its expertise to three countries and added that the US side has made a separate request concerning Jordan.
Zelenskyy added that Middle Eastern countries, as well as the United States and European nations, have interceptor drones, but without Ukrainian military personnel, pilots and specialised software, such a system does not function.
Quote: "This system exists only in Ukraine – it is officially in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So everyone understands that even dozens or hundreds of interceptors, frankly speaking, do not balance the situation.
This is systemic protection. It is experts in systemic protection – professionals in air defence and in the use of short-range air defence – who have travelled to these Middle Eastern countries."
Background: On 9 March, Zelenskyy was told during a meeting of the National Security and Defence Council that 11 requests for Kyiv's support in countering Shahed attack drones have so far come from countries neighbouring Iran as well as from other partners of Ukraine.
