Russia reports fire at oil refinery and port after drone attack

A fire was reported at an oil refinery and at a port following a drone attack in Russia. A fire reportedly broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai after UAV debris fell on the site.

Details: It was reported that technical installations caught fire, though no casualties were reported.

It was also claimed that three people were injured at the port of Kavkaz in the Temryuk district as a result of the drone attack. Debris reportedly damaged a technical vessel, while a localised fire broke out at the port's pier site.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defence stated that during the night, Russia had been attacked by 87 drones. According to the ministry, 31 were shot down over the Sea of Azov, 16 over Krasnodar Krai, eight over occupied Crimea, seven over Bryansk Oblast, six over each of Belgorod Oblast and the Black Sea, five over Rostov Oblast, three over Samara Oblast, two over Kursk Oblast, and one over each of Astrakhan, Volgograd and Tula oblasts.
