The entire Ukrainian national team has decided to boycott the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games closing ceremony.

Details: Ukraine's National Paralympic Committee stated that the national team will continue to boycott ceremonies connected with the Paralympics. The decision comes in protest at the presence of delegations from Russia and Belarus, who were allowed to compete under their own symbols.

The committee also skipped the opening ceremony of the Games. At that time, Ukraine was supported by 15 countries whose representatives did not attend the event.

Notably, before the final day of the competition, Ukraine had claimed 17 medals, three of them gold, and was seventh in the overall standings.
