The Russian government has begun fully blocking Telegram. Users are widely complaining that they cannot access any of the messenger's clients.

Details: Russian users are unable to load photos, send messages, and in some cases even open the mobile application, the desktop version or the web version. Most complaints are coming from Moscow, St Petersburg and the Moscow region. Complaints began to increase particularly actively on Saturday 14 March. The number of complaints grew even further on Sunday.

Experts believe this is the result of the messenger being blocked by the Russian authorities. The decision was taken in February, when disruptions to Telegram's operation were also recorded in Russia. Access is being restricted both by mobile operators and by home internet providers.
