Woman killed and two men injured in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast

One civilian has been killed and two others injured in Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast on 16 March.

Details: Investigators report that on 16 March, Russian forces carried out a large-scale air attack on settlements in the Kherson district. The Russians also repeatedly attacked the oblast with artillery and drones of various types.
As of 17:30, law enforcement officers have confirmed that one person was killed and two others injured as a result of the Russian strikes.
At about 12:10, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a civilian car in the city of Kherson, killing a passenger, a 38-year-old woman. The 64-year-old driver sustained shrapnel wounds.
Another strike on a vehicle, also in Kherson, had occurred in the morning. The prosecutors reported that the driver of the other car sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Background: On 13 March, 15 people were injured and one person was killed in Russian attacks on Donetsk, Kherson and Sumy oblasts.
