Quote: "Ukraine's defence forces have disrupted a Russian strategic offensive operation that the enemy had planned for this March. Although attacks are constant and assaults continue, the intensity of the assaults and the scale of the confrontation are not what the Russians had planned and not what their command had promised Russia's political leadership."
Details: Zelenskyy added that he and Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko have discussed the implementation of regional resilience plans. According to Zelenskyy, the government is working to ensure full funding for this, which largely depends on Ukraine's partners.
"This is precisely why sanctions against Russia are important. Support packages are important. And European decisions, including the €90 billion in support that has already been approved, must work. Europe's word must work so that regardless of the diplomatic situation and whatever global challenges there are, our regions are prepared for next winter in the way the past winter has taught us," he said.
