Explosions heard in Crimea: local thermal power plant possibly affected – photo, videos

Social media reports have said that powerful explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of 20-21 March. Early reports have indicated that the Tavriyskaya thermal power plant may have been hit.

Details: Explosions were heard for several hours in Simferopol and surrounding areas. According to local channels, the first explosions were recorded at around 23:30.

Further powerful explosions were heard at around 00:35-00:36. Early reports indicated that one of the strikes might have occurred near the Tavriyskaya thermal power plant.

Local residents reported flashes and a fire near the facility.
