US removes sanctions from two Russian nationals
The US Department of the Treasury has removed two Russian citizens from its sanctions list.

Details: Yurii and Lidiya Korzhavin were added to the sanctions list in May 2024 as part of measures targeting Russia's military-industrial base and sanctions evasion networks. At the time, OFAC said they were designated for their involvement in Russia's transport sector.
Sanctions have also been lifted from a Hungarian citizen, an Uzbek citizen, and a company, Reliable Freight Services FZCO, registered in the United Arab Emirates.
Background: US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy John Coale announced during a visit to Belarus on 19 March that sanctions would be lifted on several Belarusian banks and potash-producing companies.
