Quote: "The enemy has once again tried to strike at Ukraine's resilience and deprive people of basic living conditions."
Details: As a result of the morning attack, Slavutych has been temporarily left without a centralised power supply and almost 21,000 residents have no electricity.
Kalashnyk said power engineers are already working at maximum capacity and doing everything they can to restore electricity to every home as quickly as possible.
Critical infrastructure facilities were swiftly switched to backup power. Heating and water supplies have been secured. Social institutions are operating on generators and batteries. Communications and internet services remain available.
Invincibility centres are open and ready to help anyone in need. [Invincibility centres are heated premises stocked with food and power banks to assist residents facing hardships due to power cuts – ed.]
Quote from Kalashnyk: "The enemy is systematically striking the energy sector, trying to deprive people of electricity, heating and water. Our task is to strengthen the resilience of every hromada, develop energy independence and be ready for any challenge." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
