Zelenskyy says Russia preparing new large-scale strike on Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia may be preparing a large-scale strike on Ukraine on the night of 23-24 March. He has also said that Russian assassination attempts planned in Ukraine had been prevented.

Quote: "Please pay attention to air-raid warnings today. There is information from our intelligence that the Russians may be preparing a large-scale strike. The necessary orders have already been given to our air defence forces. Please take care of yourselves and of Ukraine."

Details: Zelenskyy also reported the detention of suspects involved in preparing assassination attempts but declined to provide details.

Quote: "Work against enemy agent networks is ongoing as well. In particular, today's report covered the neutralisation of such Russian influence networks operating through religious communities.

There was also a report from Major General Oleksandr Poklad. In particular, we managed to prevent crimes on the territory of our state – the Russians were preparing assassination attempts. There were corresponding detentions. We cannot disclose details publicly at this time, but I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine for protecting our people."
