Drones attack Russia's Leningrad Oblast overnight, oil refinery among targets
Drones attacked Russia's Leningrad Oblast on the night of 25-26 March, where the Kirishi Refinery (Kinef) oil refinery is located.

Quote from Drozdenko: "More than 20 drones have been destroyed over Leningrad Oblast. The repelling of the attack is ongoing over the Kirishi district. There is damage in an industrial zone. Early reports indicated no casualties."
Details: Astra said, citing local residents, that the drones had targeted one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, Kinef.
The refinery produces petrol, diesel fuel, kerosene, fuel oil and petrochemical products.
The Russian Defence Ministry reported that a total of 125 Ukrainian drones had been downed over Russian regions overnight.
Background:
- The Kinef refinery was previously attacked on 8 March 2026. At the time, Drozdenko reported that falling debris had damaged the external structure of one of the facility's tanks.
- Russia's Leningrad Oblast came under a large-scale drone attack on the night of 24-25 March, which caused a fire at the port of Ust-Luga.
