Details: According to Ukrainska Pravda sources in law enforcement, the MP was questioned by NABU on 13 March.

The following day, 14 March, he left the country in his own car via the Krakovets checkpoint.

Koriavchenkov travelled to Spain's Costa Brava coast. His family has been living in a suburb of Barcelona since the start of the full-scale invasion.

In a comment to Ukrainska Pravda journalist Mykhailo Tkach, the MP said he was in Spain on unpaid leave and insisted that this was lawful.

Koriavchenkov added that his wife had purchased an apartment in Spain but could not specify its size or price, saying that all the information would be available in his declaration.

He was also unable to say where or in what capacity his wife works.

In addition, the MP could not recall how often he visits his family in Spain or whether he spent New Year with them. Meanwhile, he acknowledged that he had been with his family in January, February and March, including for seven days in February during a "business trip".

The MP also declined to comment on his questioning by NABU.

Quote from Koriavchenkov: "I cannot say anything. I do not comment… Ask NABU."

Background:

  • Sources cited by Ukrainska Pravda said that Koriavchenkov was recently summoned for questioning by NABU in connection with a case involving cash-in-envelope payments to Servant of the People MPs.
  • In December 2025, it emerged that members of the presidential faction may have been receiving additional unofficial payments in envelopes. According to investigators, these payments were supposedly distributed in the office of an influential MP and businessman close to the president, Yurii Kysel. At the time, four MPs were notified of suspicion, while a fifth – Yurii Koriavchenkov, according to law enforcement sources cited by Ukrainska Pravda – had left the country shortly beforehand.
