The Russians struck infrastructure at one of the ports of Greater Odesa on the morning of 28 March, with several hits recorded on the premises of a company and an adjacent terminal.

Details: The attack damaged elements of the pier infrastructure as well as one of the technical storage tanks, the statement said.

No casualties have been reported. Units from the State Emergency Service, port authorities and other emergency services are working at the scene, carrying out response operations and assessing the damage.

The port continues to operate, taking into account the current security situation, the USPA added.

"In one of the ports, a drone attack damaged a grain conveyor and an empty tank. No information about casualties has been received," said Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa Oblast Military Administration.

Background: Russian forces launched a second attack on Odesa on the night of 27-28 March, with a strike hitting a maternity hospital and causing partial destruction of a multi-storey building, fires and injuries.
