Quote: "Wherever security conditions currently permit, emergency repair works are already under way. Energy workers are doing everything possible to bring power back to all consumers as quickly as possible."
Details: According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption has increased. On 31 March, as of 09:30, its level was 2.7% higher than at the same time the previous day – Monday.
"The reason is overcast weather across almost all of Ukraine and rain in several oblasts. This reduces the efficiency of domestic solar power stations and leads to a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the general grid," energy workers explain.
Ukrenergo asks consumers to limit use of high-powered electrical appliances during this time.
