Russia's port of Ust-Luga on the Baltic Sea has resumed crude oil shipments after several days of disruption caused by reported Ukrainian drone strikes on energy infrastructure in the region.

Details: Bloomberg said The Jewel, an Aframax-class tanker, had begun loading crude on Saturday 4 April.

Operations at Ust-Luga, one of Russia's main oil export hubs, were effectively halted in late March following intensified Ukrainian strikes on energy facilities along Russia's Baltic coast.

Ukraine has continued to target Russian oil infrastructure in the Baltic region. In particular, damage to facilities at the port of Primorsk was reported on Sunday 5 April.
