One person killed and 10 others injured in Russian attacks on four Ukrainian regions

One person was killed and 10 others were injured in Russian attacks on Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts on 5 April.

Details: In Kharkiv Oblast, the city of Kharkiv and 19 other settlements came under attack. Four people were injured: in Kharkiv,two women aged 60 and 89; in Chuhuiv, a 56-year-old woman who suffered an acute stress reaction; and in Velykyi Burluk, a 59-year-old man.

Russian forces used aerial bombs and various types of drones to carry out the attack. In Kharkiv, apartment blocks, energy networks and an office building were damaged. Damage was also recorded in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv and Chuhuiv districts.

In Donetsk Oblast, according to Vadym Filashkin, Russian troops killed one resident in Lyman.

The total number of casualties in the region does not include those from Mariupol and Volnovakha.

In Kherson Oblast, five people were injured as a result of Russian attacks. Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas, damaging apartment buildings, houses, an administrative building, a shop and vehicles.

In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a 46-year-old man was injured. In total, Russian forces carried out 872 strikes on 34 settlements in the region, using aircraft, multiple-launch rocket systems, artillery and drones.
