Details: It is reported that companies are being given quotas to mobilise between 25% and 50% of their workforce.
"This practice effectively undermines what remains of the region's economic base. Companies are losing staff, and production processes are either stopping or being reduced," the Center for Countering Disinformation notes.
It is also known that summonses are being issued to miners who have lost their jobs or been made redundant. The relevant lists are transferred in advance to military enlistment offices.
Background: Russia is selling off natural resources on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine through state auctions, and one of the largest such sales has been the Bobrykivske gold ore deposit in Luhansk Oblast.
