Indian court extends detention of six Ukrainians accused of terrorism

An Indian court has again ruled at a closed hearing to keep six detained Ukrainian nationals, who are allegedly suspected of preparing terrorist attacks, in custody for 30 days. Ukrainian representatives were not allowed to attend the latest hearings.

Despite repeated demands from the Ukrainian side, representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine were not allowed to attend the last two court hearings on selecting a restraint measure for the detained Ukrainians."

Details: The embassy added that it is using "all available political and diplomatic instruments" to secure consular access to the detainees.
