Russia loses 1,030 soldiers and 63 artillery systems over past day

Russia has lost 1,030 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,306,500.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 8 April 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 1,306,500 (+1,030) military personnel
• 11,846 (+5) tanks
• 24,368 (+4) armoured combat vehicles
• 39,625 (+63) artillery systems
• 1,723 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 1,341 (+1) air defence systems
• 435 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft
• 350 (+0) helicopters
• 225,301 (+1,960) operational-tactical UAVs
• 4,517 (+0) cruise missiles
• 33 (+0) ships/boats
• 2 (+0) submarines
• 88,103 (+241) vehicles and fuel tankers
• 4,117 (+2) special vehicles and other equipment.
