Russian forces attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia Oblast on the night of 8-9 April, with an attack drone destroying a Nova Poshta branch in Novomykolaivka.

Details: The company stated that no employees were injured, as the branch was closed overnight. However, the fire destroyed more than 150 parcels.

Nova Poshta has already begun contacting customers whose shipments were at the branch. Early estimates set compensation at UAH 300,000 (US$6,900).

The company also announced that a mobile branch will be set up nearby in the near future so that residents can continue to use delivery services.

Background: Since the evening of 8 April, Russian forces have attacked Ukraine with 119 attack UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas drones and other types. A total of 99 drones were downed or suppressed, although some hits were recorded.
