Three women were injured in Russian attacks in Kherson on 9 April. An 89-year-old woman was injured in attacks on the city centre, while two employees of a combined heat and power plant were taken to hospital after a drone strike.

Details: At about 10:00 Russian troops attacked central Kherson. An 89-year-old woman who was outside at the time came under attack. She sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to her leg. Medics treated her at the scene.

Background: Russian forces conducted drone attacks on the city of Kherson on 7 April, targeting an ambulance with three medics as well as two doctors who were walking home.
