New Hero Cities of Ukraine designated

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented the honorary distinction "Hero City of Ukraine" to cities in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi and Sumy oblasts.

Quote: "I presented the honorary distinction 'Hero City of Ukraine' to our communities that continue to stand firm despite Russian pressure, attacks and strikes, and support the front. Among them are the cities in Donetsk Oblast: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Sloviansk. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, these are Huliaipole and Orikhiv.

In Kharkiv Oblast – Kupiansk. Marhanets, Nikopol and Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Starokostiantyniv in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Trostianets in Sumy Oblast and the city of Sumy."

Details: Zelenskyy also presented state awards to representatives of local self-government bodies and military administrations.
