Russians attacked Ukrainian positions 50 times before start of "Easter truce"

Russian forces had attacked Ukrainian defence positions 50 times on 11 April up to 16:00, that is, before the beginning of the "Easter truce" declared by Russia. Orthodox Easter will be celebrated on Sunday 12 April.

Details: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, four combat clashes took place. In addition, Russian forces subjected Ukrainian populated areas and positions to 28 strikes, one of which was from a multiple-launch rocket system.

On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians assaulted the positions of Ukrainian units twice near the settlement of Starytsia.

On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces made three attempts to improve their positions by moving towards the settlements of Petropavlivka and Novoosynove.

On the Lyman front, four Russian assaults have taken place near Zarichne and towards Shyikivka and Lyman since the start of the day.

On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians carried out 14 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and Novopavlivka.

On the Pokrovsk front, Russian troops made 13 attempts to push Ukrainian forces from their positions near the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka.

On the Oleksandrivka front, Ukrainian and Russian forces clashed three times near Novohryhorivka and Ternove.

On the Huliaipole front, the Ukrainian defence forces repelled four Russian attacks near the settlements of Solodke and Olenokostiantynivka and towards Charivne. The Russians launched airstrikes near the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Kopani, Charivne and Rivne.

On the Orikhiv front, Russia launched airstrikes near the settlements of Obshche and Omelnyk.

On the Prydniprovske front, Russian forces carried out three unsuccessful offensive actions towards the Antonivka Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
