Russian forces advance further into Ukraine near Myrnohrad

Russian troops have captured new territory north of the city of Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast, including in the town of Rodynske.

Details: DeepState reported the Russian advance in Rodynske and in the nearby village of Chervonyi Lyman.

Background:

DeepState reported earlier that Russian forces were amassing infantry and equipment south of Myrnohrad in order to "finish off the city and its agglomeration".
On the evening of 15 April, DeepState reported that Russian forces had advanced near three settlements in Donetsk Oblast and two in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Those are Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne and Udachne in Donetsk Oblast and Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
