Ukraine confirms damage to drone plant in Taganrog and FSB patrol ship – General Staff

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released an update on strikes carried out against the Atlant Aero defence company in Taganrog, Russia, and a patrol ship in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Quote: "The results of the 19 April 2026 strike by Ukrainian Neptune cruise missiles on the Atlant Aero company (Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, Russian Federation) have been ascertained – the destruction of two production facilities and damage to four others has been confirmed."

Details: The General Staff noted that Atlant Aero carries out the full cycle of design, production and testing of Molniya strike-reconnaissance UAVs and components for Orion drones.

In addition, following a strike on a Project 22460 patrol ship belonging to Russia's FSB Border Service in Sevastopol in temporarily occupied Crimea on 22 April, damage to the combat control centre has been confirmed.

Background: On the night of 18-19 April, Ukraine's defence forces struck a number of key Russian military facilities in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and inside Russia, including the Atlant Aero company.
