Ukrainian company TAF Industries to scale up drone production with Finnish partner
TAF Industries, a Ukrainian company known for its Kolibri FPV drones, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Finnish company Summa Defence to scale up drone production.

Details: The partnership envisages joint production using Summa's manufacturing infrastructure facilities and technological ecosystem in Finland as part of the Build with Ukraine initiative.
The signing ceremony took place during a demo day at TAF Industries, which was attended by Ukrainska Pravda. During the event, the company showcased its developments and how the systems could be deployed.
TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovskyi said: "By combining our operational experience and battle-tested technologies with Summa's capabilities to scale production, we are creating a powerful alliance to strengthen the military potential of both Ukraine and Finland."
At Summa Defence, the partnership is described as a strategic combination of Finnish engineering expertise and Ukrainian battlefield innovation.
Summa Defence co-founder Jussi Holopainen said: "By scaling the production of battle-proven Ukrainian technologies in Finland, we are not just increasing volumes – we are building a resilient defence ecosystem for both Northern Europe and Ukraine."
For reference: Summa Defence is a Finnish defence and security technology group focused on building an industrial base by consolidating innovative small and medium-sized companies in the defence and dual-use technology sectors. Its core areas are maritime, land and emerging technologies.
TAF Industries specialises in the production of drones and electronic warfare systems. This is not the company's first international agreement: it previously signed a partnership with Germany's Wingcopter to launch joint production in Germany.
