A father and son were killed in a Russian attack on Chernihiv Oblast on the evening of 8 May.

Details: Russia attacked a border village in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district on the evening of 8 May.

Early reports indicated that a 70-year-old man had been killed.

On the morning of 9 May, his 49-year-old son died in hospital. He had sustained severe blast injuries and burns.

The district military administration clarified that the men had been working on the land when the attack took place.

Another man, 55, was injured in the same village.
