Man killed, two others in serious condition due to Russian attack on central Kherson

A man was killed and two other people were injured in an artillery attack on the centre of the city of Kherson on 16 May.

Details: The Prosecutor's Office reported that Russian forces launched an artillery attack on the central part of Kherson at around 11:45.

A man was killed in the attack. Two other civilians, a man and a woman, sustained injuries of varying severity. All three were outside at the time of the attack. The injured were taken to hospital.

Oleksandr Prokudin said a man, 35, and a woman, 22, were taken to hospital in a serious condition and doctors were doing everything possible to save their lives.

Background: Russian forces used a drone to strike a bus in the Tsentralnyi district of Kherson at around 07:00 on 16 May.
