Ukrainian forces take control of key locations in Stepnohirsk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast – video

Key locations in the city of Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast have come under the control of Ukraine's security and defence forces.

Details: During the operation, conducted in close coordination with adjacent units, assault troops of the DIU special unit Artan carried out a series of active offensive actions to drive the Russians out of the city and stabilise the situation in the settlement.

A Russian FPV drone attempted to attack the vehicles in which Artan groups were advancing on Russian positions but was coolly destroyed.

It is noted that as a result of fighting in difficult urban conditions, Russian forces were driven from fortified positions and key locations in Stepnohirsk came under the control of Ukraine's security and defence forces.

"The assault operations were conducted in a coordinated manner, using aerial reconnaissance and precision fire strikes. Every building was checked for 'surprises' and remnants of the occupying forces. We do not rule out that the enemy will continue attempts to re-enter the city, but we are ready for this," stated Artan commander Viktor Torkotiuk.
