Russian aerial bomb hits Druzhkivka: one killed, apartment block ablaze – photos

One person was killed as a result of a Russian airstrike on the town of Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast on 18 May. Three five-storey apartment blocks have been damaged, and one of them caught fire.

Quote: "Druzhkivka: one person has been killed as a result of a Russian airstrike, firefighters have extinguished a fire in an apartment block.

The enemy carried out an airstrike on the city, killing one person and causing damage."

Details: Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported that a fire had broken out in one of the buildings following the strike.

Firefighters extinguished seats of fire in flats from the ground floor to the fourth floor of an apartment block. The fire covered an area of 100 sq m.

The State Emergency Service urged residents not to delay evacuation and to leave for safer territories.
