One killed, five injured in Russian aerial bomb strike on apartment block in Druzhkivka

One woman has been killed and five people injured in a Russian aerial bomb attack on a high-rise residential building in the city of Druzhkivka in Donetsk Oblast on the evening of 24 May.

Quote: "Russian forces attacked Druzhkivka on 24 May 2026 at 18:26. A FAB-250 aerial bomb with a UMPK guidance kit hit a high-rise residential building. [A UMPK is a guidance kit for converting unguided bombs into precision-guided munitions – ed.]

As of now, a 70-year-old woman is known to have been killed. A man and four women aged 40, 44, 45, 69 and 73 have suffered blast injuries."
