Ukraine hits Russian oil refinery and vessel off Crimean coast – videos

Ukraine's defence forces have struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, as well as a number of other Russian-held targets, including a vessel off the coast of Crimea, on the night of 1-2 June.

For reference: The Ilsky oil refinery is one of southern Russia's largest oil facilities and plays a key role in producing petroleum products. Its primary processing units have a total capacity of 6.6 million tonnes of oil per year. The refinery supplies the Russian armed forces.

Details: The General Staff also reported that on the night of 1-2 June, Ukraine's defence forces struck a Russian vessel at its anchorage in the area of Mizhvodne, in temporarily occupied Crimea. Early reports indicate the vessel is a degaussing ship. The results of the strike are being assessed.

Background: Russian authorities earlier reported that a fire had broken out on the territory of the Ilsky oil refinery following a drone strike.
