Details: The corporation reported that on 3 June a Russian attack drone struck ATB's distribution centre in Dnipro. No staff members were killed or injured, as all personnel were in a safe location. However, one of the company's largest and most modern distribution centres has been critically damaged.
Quote: "The facility is a class-A multi-temperature logistics complex with a total area of 37,500 sq m, which supplied goods to approximately 300 ATB stores in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts."
Details: Further operation of the distribution centre is currently impossible. The company's experts are assessing the scale of the destruction and determining steps to restore logistics processes.
Quote: "The preliminary damage estimate runs into hundreds of millions of hryvnias; however, final conclusions will be drawn following the completion of an expert survey of the facility."
More details: Despite the loss of one of its key logistics hubs, ATB is already working to redistribute logistics flows between its other distribution centres, which the corporation stated will minimise the impact of the attack on the retail network's operations and ensure uninterrupted supply of goods to customers.
